CoalMetalAsia Magazine – September 2025
Nickel markets remain unsettled, still pricing Class 1 and Class 2 as if they were one. As noted by Romy Ramadhani in CoalMetalAsia Magazine (Sept 2025), “the market still seeks one single price,” despite the clear separation between EV-grade Class 1 and stainless-steel-driven Class 2.
In this environment, cost discipline and technology make the difference. TGEM’s proprietary STAL technology offers a proven pathway: commercially operating in Indonesia since 2023 via Go STAL, producing high-grade (>50% Ni) MHP that aligns with Western ESG and traceability standards.
The feature also highlights STAL Loop, TGEM’s capability to process nickel-bearing industrial waste, such as processed spent catalysts, into high-grade MHP — advancing circularity in nickel supply chains.
Looking forward, TGEM plans to scale through its Ecopark model: first with STAL One Ecopark in Bogor, and then with IGNITE Ecopark in Sorong, Southwest Papua, subject to permitting, partnerships, and market conditions.
TGEM is Indonesian-based and globally oriented, committed to producing high-quality Class 1 nickel and to continuous improvement.
